Ray started as a volunteer with Echo Fire in 2011. He is a 2017 graduate of the resident intern program at UCFD#1 where he continues to volunteer. During his down time, Ray is an advocate for autism, enjoys riding horses and 4-wheelers, hunting, leather working, and spending time with his family including his two young daughters.

channels of communication to all members of the public. As part of this commitment, Umatilla Rural Fire Protection District
