Firefighter/EMT Jacob Posey grew up in Canby, Oregon. He attended Clark Community College for two years, where he played baseball, before completing his degree in Kinesiology at Oregon State University. His education and athletic background helped build an appreciation for physical readiness, teamwork, and disciplined preparation.
Jacob began his fire service career as an intern with Corvallis Fire Department, serving in that role for five years. Seeking additional experience in patient care and ambulance operations, he then spent a year with Falck in Salem. He joined Umatilla Rural Fire Protection District in spring 2025 and has since completed his probationary year, continuing to build his experience as a career Firefighter/EMT.
