In 2011, during his senior year of high school, Joey joined the Irrigon Fire Department. He has continued to serve the citizens of Irrigon since, successfully being promoted to Lieutenant, in 2020. He enjoys hunting, spending time with his family, circle track racing and volunteering for multiple charities.
